We were told to find a cause to research and support. I automatically knew my cause would be the fight against cancer. I chose the fight against cancer because I lost my great grandmother to cancer two years ago. I know the affect cancer has on someone and their family. Cancer is the second most common cause of death in the United States today. More and more people are diagnosed with the disease everyday. Family members are lost everyday due to this deadly disease. If only a cure was found many lives could be saved. There are many organizations that support the fight against cancer. There is the Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer support, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, and many more organizations out to support and find a cure for the disease.
